hotel bar Client: Moxy Bastille Scope of Work: A unique hotel bar built from bricks imported from the south of France, with a concrete top and corrugated plexiglass elements. Description:

Bar furniture made from bricks manufactured in the south of France and a bar canopy in metal and corrugated Plexiglas.

Description:

Every detail counts.

It all began with the precise creation of a template directly on the ground, which determined the shape and size of the future bar. Next, specially imported bricks from the south of France were hand-laid to the template and then painted, creating a solid and aesthetically stunning base for the structure. Above the bar, a luminous shelf was suspended with a corrugated Plexiglas front, adding a touch of lightness and modernity. Fitting this unusual shelf was a real challenge, due to its shape, weight and the necessity of fixing it securely to the ceiling, despite the existing technical ducts.

What’s more, additional coordination had to be put in place so that an external company could pour a waxed concrete bar runner, which provided not only durability but also an elegant appearance.

Combining tradition and modernity.

Completing this project was a real test of our skills. Combining raw brick and concrete with bright, modern Plexiglas required not only technical knowledge, but also creativity and a sense of aesthetics. The result is a piece of furniture that blends perfectly with the industrial character of the Moxy Bastille hotel, while adding a unique touch to the interior.
